It baffles me how inspiration comes, and how it moves through. Finally, after a significantly long break from painting, two creations emerged. Interesting how energy pushes through to release and discover something new. First came “Battlefield.” Intense and passionate. I know what it held and what it let go. The second, “Morning Whisper.” Light and calming. A peaceful muse… It flew so easily as the top layer dissolved… The two pieces couldn’t have been more different from each other. Yet, they both represent something very personal… A journey of self transformation… We all carry stories, our hearts become their permanent home; though sometimes it’s really important to open the windows, and allow the fresh air to carry away the unwanted burdens. It can leave you feeling quite free and joyful.
